How to avoid spam mails?
The user control /nospam.ascx and its code-behind, nospam.ascx.cs combine a number of checks that try to distinguish humans from evil spam robots. If you behave like a robot you probably are a robot.
So we look for human behaviour and if you behave like a human let you in. If not you will be rejected - and we don't even tell the evil machine owners why we reject.
Security and good ethics
n-gen.net CMS has from day one been committed to do our best to
- Keep your website safe from hackers and crackers,
- Keep information submitted by your website's visitors safe from identity burglars,
- Keep your forms free from spammers.
The uncrackable website
If someone is sufficiently determined they might crack your website - even if you are running the most updated version behind the biggest firewall! It happens every day for someone. But...
... if your website provides better security than your neighbour's the perpetrator might move on to your neighbour's property and leave your intact...
... if you are very determined not to let anyone mess with your website the perpetrator might find that it is not worth the effort to keep trying...
... if you want to be 100% certain to eliminate all risks you must cut the network connection and go offline! Hmm, but then your are not really running a website, are you?
